I am currently writing a novel tentatively titled, "Until Her Darkness Goes." This is my first novel.  I have published short stories in various presses including Featherproof Books.  I have also published personal essays and poetry in various literary magazines an​d collections including "Ceremony Collected,"edited by Melanie M. Eyth, and "Caesura," a literary magazine out of San Jose, California.  An agent from Signature Literary Agency in NYC read the first (and only, at the time) twenty eight pages of very rough draft from my manuscript for "Until Her Darkness Goes" and offered me representation upon its completion.

I have a college education in creative writing including novel length works, poetry, short stories, and creative nonfiction and I've attended several writing workshops in order to hone my craft.  I started winning awards for my writing by the time I was in sixth grade.  I don't participate in many contests these days as I just prefer not to.  My writing content is not at all conventional and often breaks taboos.  ​​
